Honestly, not showering for a week does not make anyone tough just nasty. Because even if you are in the woods you can bathe or at least get into the water and remove some dirt. I dont think that i would want to contaminate the water with soap. I was in the military and had to be in the woods for weeks and i never went more than 2 days without showering.
