What has age got to do with it? Salman acts as a magnet to many women (most are girls) even today. Remember that he has dated some of the most beautiful women in India: Sangeeta Bijlani, Aishwarya Rai and now Katrina Kaif (forget Somy Ali).

If Katrina had started comparing Salman’s age with that of his dad, we would have missed out on one of the juiciest love story in Bollywood today. Slaps, make ups. Strong silent guy. Beautiful woman. My! This is the stuff, blockbusters are made from!

Salman might have road rage and fits of violence, but he still invites wolf whistles from girls when he appears on the screen (and takes off his shirt, I should add).

Believe me, Shahid is considered a kid by many girls. Vidya Balan is well advised to pay attention to her wardrobe rather than run after baby faced heroes like Shahid.

@ Balbhadra...I don’t know which girls you are talking about...except those in early teens and fresh college goers...I have met umpteen number of girls who cannot stand Salman at all...so pls don’t give a generalised statement! His fake accent, his dumb replies at any interview, his crass and stupid sense of humor other than his eccentric behavior at times all comes to the forefront when I think of considering him in the list! If only good physique, popularity amongst starry-eyed girls, and ’devil may care’ attitude were the criterion of MEB in Bollywood I would not commented at all!! Shahid may be baby faced, but his impish, boy next door charm is rocking!

Though u sound sensible enough for applauding Rahul...again u have made a statemnet which I cannot digest at all. Its just a myth and a distasteful hype created by some MCP’s that some women like violent men! No woman or a girl for that matter would love to flaunt her battered and bruised self, no matter how much she loves her ’man’. She tries to hide it out of sheer desperation or dignity...like Ash did before dumping Salman for good.

And for your information Katrina was chased by Salman initially, not vice versa. Thank God, good sense finally prevailed in her also!

But all said and done, I have to grudgingly agree with you regarding one point. Even in Bangalore Salman has a huge fan following. Even I like him at times when he is candid, fresh and talks sense, as he did when he had once come to judge a reality show for singing on Star Plus.:P)!!

Rahul Bose is good, at least as far as his acting skills go…but wonder how he would be on a personal-one-to one level. Comes across as terribly opiniated person. As for Salman Khan, the least said the better! Can’t stand him....yuck!

I think you have yet to see life more (pardon me for the presumption). I did add the word ’regrssive’. And it is a fact that many women (not all) prefer men who are brutal and go-getters, even insensitive to them, rather than go for a guy who is loving and caring, but does not want to act beastly to earn more money.

Mouthing pious platitudes about society will not change the complexities of the man-woman chemistry.

Rahul Bose is the arty celebral types. I remember one of his earliest movies (I forget the name) was about the life of a collector in a backward area in the country. What he does to pass the time and stuff like that. I never saw the film, but a pseudo pal of mine praised it to the skies! (Give me a Bond movie anyday).

I guess if cerebral guys are your cup of tea, there is no one better than Rahul Bose.

I have never mentioned that you have commented on all women folk, but how do u know that those who do like such men are all regressive? That means at the back of your mind you feel that sensible and progresive females cannot like a violent and brash person! So, logically, he cannot be considered as a contender for this list.

I never wanted to eulogise or sermonise regarding our social structure. You see dumb bimbettes fantacizing about a macho man beating her black and blue and then making love to her in movies and fictions...when it comes down to brass tacks...the reality becomes too much to bear, it becomes an onerous burden when emotions like love and attraction take a backseat!
