Yes why shouldnt they have voting rights...their profession is the oldest in the world....and they do not adopt their vocation of their own volition many a time...then why shouldn’t they claim the rights given to others?

It never struck to me that prostitutes were not given ID cards. Is it really because of their profession or because of the inefficiency of the authorities? Because I know many people ’normal’ professions who try hard to get their Voters ID Card but they don’t, because of the government’s inefficiency.

The constitution which guarantees the fundamental right of each individual is in question and it would be interesting to watch out how the government clears the litmus paper. And it would not surprise me a bit if the apathy of these lesser fortunate ones lose the news headlines very soon. I just pray that may be this time I am proved wrong !!
